My Pink Stamper NSD 2011 Challenge #1

Here we go again! Another year has come for National Scrapbooking Day! Our first challenge was to produce a project on kraft paper. This is a very simple card:  I used a background stamp with Versamark Watermark Ink for the background. I then placed  a   1-3/4″ strip of tan paper (that I embossed on my Cuttlebug) vertically on the card. To finish it off, I picked an oval scalloped die cut and stamped “SMILE” on the front of it, using dimensional adhesive to make it pop off the card. Hope you like it!

Silhouette SD Cutting Machine

I own a Silhouette SD Cutting Machine and I absolutely love it! So many great shapes to cut. I especially like the fact that I can pick and choose from thousands of shapes, cards, phrases, etc. instead of buying a cartridge with only a couple of shapes that I really want. If you don’t have one yet, I say “Buy it, now!”

MPS NSD Challenge #9 – “Take Shape”

I made this birthday card in the “shape” of a present! By pulling up on the bow, the “lid” slides out and exposes the inside of the card! I love this one, so cute. Hope you love it too! Thanx, Lori.

MPS NSD Challenge #7 – “Hey Dad!”

Here is a Father’s Day card that I made for this next challenge. Thanx, Lori.

MPS NSD Challenge #5 – “Teacher Appreciation Days”

Here is the card I made for challenge #5. Hope you like it! Thanx, Lori.

MPS NSD Challenge #6

Here is my card that I made for Challenge #6, “Kids Craft, too.”  This card is a birthday card for a young girl. Hope you love it! Thanx, Lori.

MPS NSD Challenge #4 – “I Like You the Least”

This challenge was to make something with our least favorite Cricut cartridge. I don’t have many cartridges so I picked “Sweethearts.” I remember why it is my least favorite.

MPS NSD Challenge #3 “Thinking Ouside the Box”

For our third challenge, we had to use a medium or something that we don’t normally use. I decided to use vinyl and acrylic to make a home decor item. Put this in a black frame and you have a beautiful picture. Thanx, Lori.

MPS NSD Challenge #2

Celebrate Sunshine! Here is a card that I made out of scraps for NSD Challenge #2.

Hope you like it. Thanx, Lori
